Bike to Work: Modena rewards for eco-friendly commuting

From April 14 to August 31, 2025, the “Bike to Work” project returns to Modena, promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with the sustainable mobility platform Wecity.

The initiative offers a financial reward to those who commute by bicycle or electric scooter: €0.20 for every kilometer traveled, up to a maximum of €50 per month.

There are 2,300 spots available, and participants must register through the Wecity app, which will automatically track sustainable commutes between home and work. Only trips lasting less than four hours and starting and ending within 250 meters of the registered home and work addresses will be counted. For intermodal journeys, only the segments completed by bicycle or electric scooter will be eligible.
